Project Brief
Kyle McCracken and I explored the use of a holistic singular value decomposition-based leaf shape detection system. Using a dataset of Northeastern tree leaf genera and species, we were able to train this linear algebra-based algorithm to define eigenvectors and eigenvalues associated with each genus and species.
